The studio is getting closer to being ready to use! Setting up the darkroom will take a bit of work to get it lightproof and counters made, so I will probably make another low-budget cardboard dark box for my wet plate collodion work. I was hoping to be able to offer tintype portraits at the Get Behind the Arts studio tour in Racine this coming Sunday, but I won’t have the wet plate gear ready by then.
[UPDATE, May 1, 2014: Tintype Portraits are now available in my studio, learn more here.]
Feel free to stop by for the studio tour this Sunday, April 13th, from 11am – 5pm at the 16th Street Studios & Racine Business Center at 1405 16th St. Racine, WI. I will have my photography on display, and for sale in my studio, and there are many other great artists in the building to visit as well.
