You are invited to attend the opening reception of the 2015 Racine Art Museum Fellowship Exhibition on Thursday, August 27th from 6-8pm at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine, WI. The exhibition runs from August 28th – November 28th 2015.
My work for this exhibition steps beyond the traditional style and presentation of my previous works to offer unique one-of-a-kind pieces of art. This exhibition of my photographic art offers a look at historic and traditional photographic processes (such as tintypes, ambrotypes, dry plate glass negatives, and silver gelatin prints) as well as combining traditional with contemporary methods. Several of the new large scale pieces explore the use of beeswax, tar, shellac, gold leaf and other materials.
My work will be displayed in the first gallery within RAM’s Wustum Museum, and you will also be able to see the art of three other RAM Fellows: Diane Levesque, Bill Reid, and Lisa Marie Barber.
